9. Politika Değişiklikleri

Bu politikayı zaman zaman güncelleyebiliriz. En güncel sürüm her zaman bu adreste yayınlanır; sayfanın başındaki tarih son güncellemeyi gösterir.

Cosmic Atlas ("the app") takes your privacy seriously. This document explains what data the web app at kozmikatlas.com collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. Written in plain English; for questions, write to [email protected].

In short

• No account. No email or password is asked for; nobody registers you as a "user".
• Your birth details stay in your browser. They are not sent to a server, sold or shared.
• Your chart is calculated in your browser.
• No ads and no tracking cookies.

1. What Data, and Where It Stays

Your birth details (date, time, place), the people you add and your journal notes live only in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to us or to any other server. If you clear browser data or switch devices they will not be there; you can also delete them any time with Delete my data on this device on the Profile page.

Approximate location: for "right now" sky calculations, where you are is estimated roughly from your browser's time zone. No precise location permission is requested, GPS is not used, and this is not sent anywhere.

Technical and usage measurement: anonymous events such as which pages open and how long calculations take. See section 4.

2. Collection Limits

• No advertising identifiers are collected and no ads are shown.
• No data is sold to third parties.
• No advertising or tracking cookies and no social-network plugins. Only your browser's local storage is used to make the app work.
• No access to your contacts, camera or microphone is requested.

3. Calculations In Your Browser

Astrological calculations (planet positions, rising sign and house cusps, aspects, eclipses, fixed stars, profections, astrocartography, horary and more) run locally in your browser with the astronomy-engine library. No server request is made for them. These are the places where the calculation touches the network:

• Birth place search. The city name you type is sent to the Open-Meteo geocoding service to build a result list. Your name, birth date and time are not sent, though the text you type is often your birth city. If the service is unreachable, a local city list is used.
• High-precision asteroid positions. Asteroid codes and a date-time to the minute (this can be your moment of birth) are relayed through one of our Supabase Edge Functions to the NASA JPL Horizons service. Your name, email and birth place are not sent. Without a connection the in-browser calculation is used. These requests can appear in technical logs (for example your IP address).

4. Third-Party Services

• Cloudflare: hosts and serves the site. It may keep technical records about access (for example your IP address) under its own policy.
• Open-Meteo: birth place search (section 3).
• Supabase (EU, Frankfurt): the Edge Function for asteroid positions (section 3) and anonymous usage measurement.
• NASA JPL Horizons: asteroid positions (section 3, through our Edge Function).

Anonymous usage measurement is written to our own Supabase setup without your identity and without your birth details, and no third-party analytics tool is used. It is on by default; you can turn it off any time under Settings on the Profile page, after which no new events are collected.

Retrace. The site promotes a separate app called Retrace. There is no account or data link between the two; if you follow the link you go to the App Store, Google Play or retracebirth.com, and their policies apply.

5. Records From The Earlier Mobile Version

You may have created an account in the mobile version of Cosmic Atlas that was tested earlier. Those records (email, cloud backup) remain in Supabase; the web version does not use them and creates no new ones. To have them deleted, email [email protected] from the address on the account; the request is processed within 30 days. Details: Data Deletion.

6. Children's Data

Cosmic Atlas is not designed for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

Under the EU GDPR and Turkey's KVKK you have the rights of access, correction, deletion and portability. In the web version your data sits only in your own browser, so you do most of this yourself: correct details on the Profile page and delete them with Delete my data on this device. For anything we hold (anonymous measurement or earlier mobile records) write to [email protected].

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Because your birth details are not sent to a server, there is no record of them that could leak from one; the real protection is the security of your device and browser. If you use a shared device, we suggest deleting your data when you are done.

9. Policy Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always published at this address; the date at the top shows the last update.
